As someone who insists on making lists of everything that I need to do, being on vacation in the Dominican Republic and trying to relax, posed a threat to my norm. So, I made a list of things I wanted to make sure we did while we were there. It is below.

I want to point a few choice points.
#2 – Breakfast in Bed
#8 Post Cards – purchased but never mailed
#12 Casino – we went but it was hardly a casino. We lost $4 in slots and called it a night
#14 Make Second List About the Rest Of Our Lives
#16 Tequila Party – just so we didn’t forget to go

- and like all my lists, I like to put something down that I have just done or will be doing right away for the purpose of immediately crossing off, so I feel like I have accomplished something. #15 – Rob gets us mimosas – happened as I started writing the list.

Imagine if my regular calender looked like that?! That would be awesome.

My pet goldfish Flood passed away.

I just got back from my 2 weeklong honeymoon when my friend/fish-sitter gave me the news. She was hysterical when she came over to let me know. I had an odd feeling the whole time I was gone and even more so when she texted me that SHE’D come over with him to my place. I didn’t want her to feel like it was her fault, so I didn’t cry until after she left.

The week prior was his sixth birthday.
