I have to say I’m pretty appalled about this Susan Boyle, Britain’s Got Talent thingy. Have you seen this video. It’s like people are honestly shocked that someone, let’s just say it – unattractive – can sing. Everyone in the entire audience is rolling their eyes and making gag faces and then.. wow, she can sing! Amazing! Who knew ugly people could do stuff?
What the hell is wrong with the world?! Let me say this, there are a lot of really ugly people that can sing and most attractive people can’t. (there were too many links to insert there).
Even the Huffington Post is admitting that we have fuglyphobia. Rob says, this is a great opportunity for ugly people all over. Now, maybe people will think twice before they assume that this person is just “ugly.”
His outlook, while oddly positive, is just as mean and fuglyphobic.
Look can’t we just calm down our obsession with beautiful people? This story should not be breaking news on the Today Show! There are way more important things going on in the world right now. Oh BTW have you seen this website of celebrities without makeup?
